As a result of our successful Turing bid (2021-2022), over 80 students were able to utilise funding and take part in a short-term overseas mobility this summer. Working with a wide variety of partner institutions amongst other organisations, students took part in course related trips, summer schools, placements and volunteering expeditions which took place all over the globe. The impact of the Turing scheme has been overwhelmingly positive, with most students who have benefited from the scheme noting instantaneous benefits. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing a series of success stories from some of our students who took part in a short-term mobility this year.
The Turing scheme will ultimately replace the Erasmus+ programme in the UK and places a strong emphasis on widening participation and promoting equal access to overseas study visits for students of all backgrounds. For enquiries relating to the Turing scheme, please email GO@Lincoln.ac.uk
