Working Abroad

Students who are on our degree courses which include an optional placement year can complete this year overseas. These can be completed in Europe, with additional funding and recognition available via the Erasmus+ programme. Students enrolled on a course without this option are able to apply for summer placements. Erasmus+ offers grants for summer placements which are related to a student’s chosen area of study, to help assist with living costs for unpaid placements. The University also works with selected partners who offer internships for up to 12 months following the completion of studies as part of the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme. A list of all current overseas internships is available on the Erasmus Intern website which is an online platform offered by Erasmus Student Network.
